Bethan Kingsley is a co-lead with the Evaluation Capacity Network, housed at the Community-University Partnership (CUP) for the Study of Children, Youth and Families at the University of Alberta. In this role, she develops and brokers evaluation capacity building opportunities and partners with organizations to conduct research and evaluation. Through the ECN, Bethan is currently working on a project with Terra Centre and Brentwood Housing Society to develop a model of supportive housing for teen families using an evaluative approach. Bethan has a PhD in Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation from the University of Alberta. Through this work, she explored issues of marginalization in sport for youth from families with lower incomes. In research and evaluation more generally, Bethan uses a community-based approach to examine a range of social issues using qualitative methods. In addition to her work with the Evaluation Capacity Network, Bethan is a consultant with In Situ Change Strategies. Bethan Kingsley | Facilitator
